This project is curated for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) women and gender-diverse individuals to reflect on their lived experiences and be supported in creating multi-media art, video, or digital stories through empowering forms of expression. The sessions will foster healing, self-affirmation, and empowerment, and selected participants will complete the workshops with a finished project.
All stories are welcome, whether they reflect personal journeys, business experiences, or ways you continue to navigate challenging times. The completed videos will be featured in virtual public screenings, including a cinema event, to raise awareness about social issues, inspire change, and promote meaningful allyship.
Eligibility: This opportunity is open to BIPOC/racialized women and gender-diverse individuals, ages 18 and above, based in Sudbury and Toronto. Sessions will be offered both in-person and virtually to ensure broad access and participation.
We invite you to be part of this powerful project if you’re interested in exploring the purpose and impact of storytelling. Come and experience the strength that emerges when people reclaim their narratives to uplift themselves and their communities.
